The Fine Print
By booking an appointment with Salon Diadem, clients acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions, which apply to all services and appointments and operate in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

To maintain a safe and professional environment, clients must not attend appointments if they are unwell or contagious. The salon reserves the right to refuse, modify, or discontinue services where a client appears unwell or where proceeding may pose a risk to staff or other clients.
Clients presenting with cold or flu-like symptoms may be required to wear a mask or comply with additional safety measures as directed by staff. Compliance with health and safety requirements is a condition of service.

Clients are responsible for managing their appointments and providing notice of cancellation or rescheduling within the salon's stated timeframe.
Appointments cancelled, rescheduled, or not attended within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will result in forfeiture of any deposit paid and may incur additional cancellation charges, to the extent permitted under Australian Consumer Law.
Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will be recorded as a no-show.
Appointment reminders issued via email (five days prior) and SMS (three days prior) are provided as a courtesy only. Failure to receive or review reminders does not absolve the client of responsibility.

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment shortened, modified, or cancelled at the discretion of the salon. Where an appointment cannot proceed due to late arrival, applicable cancellation fees may apply.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure all appointments. Deposits are applied toward the cost of services rendered and are subject to the cancellation and no-show provisions outlined above.

All consultation appointments incur a non-refundable fee of $50. Consultations are allocated professional time and include a discussion of hair goals, anticipated timeframes, product recommendations, and a service quotation.
The consultation fee applies regardless of whether the client elects to proceed with a service appointment. Consultations are required for all new clients prior to booking services, to ensure clarity, suitability, and mutual agreement on the proposed plan.

All service durations are estimates only and include consultation, application, and processing time. Actual appointment length may vary based on individual hair characteristics and service requirements.
Foil services include toner and treatment only where expressly specified. Blow-dry and Cut & Blow-dry services must be booked separately unless included within a defined package. Add-on styling services are available only in conjunction with Blow-dry or Cut & Blow-dry appointments and apply to styling beyond a standard finish.
Pricing reflects base service and standard product usage. Additional hair length, density, or product requirements may result in additional charges, which will be discussed during consultation. Final confirmation of product usage and applicable fees will be provided at reception.
Prices are subject to change without notice. Quotes are valid for the date provided only.

While every effort is made to achieve the agreed result, hair services are inherently subject to variation based on hair history, condition, and maintenance. Specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Any concerns regarding a service must be raised within 7 days of the appointment. Adjustments, where deemed appropriate, are at the discretion of management and do not apply to change-of-mind requests.

Refunds are not offered for change of mind. This does not limit or exclude any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

The salon reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service where client conduct is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive, or where staff feel unable to proceed comfortably.
For safety and comfort, children and additional guests must be supervised at all times. The salon accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises.

Appointment availability is limited. Clients are encouraged to rebook within the recommended timeframe to maintain results.
For after-hours appointments, clients must knock upon arrival, as salon doors are secured after 5:00 pm for staff and client safety.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer guarantees or rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
